About subhead

The Alliance Award

The Alliance is an award given to shippers and their alliance partners for excellence in supply chain.

Awarded in five distinct categories, The Alliance looks at more than the outcome of the supply chain partnerships, it also examines the dynamic partnerships that were formed to drive results. A panel of distinguished judges will examine the role of each of the partners and the contributions their individual and collective efforts have made to solving a supply chain problem or driving change and continuous improvement in a supply chain.

Submissions in each category will be evaluated on metrics and results and on the implementation of the processes and tools responsible for achieving top performance in the supply chain. They will also be examined for innovation and how the partnerships made best use of each alliance partner’s strengths.

About the Alliance

Receiving the Alliance award from World Trade 100 and SMC3 at Jump Start 2013 was very gratifying. The fact that our transportation solution was recognized by industry professionals says a lot about the collaborative partnership that Averitt and Tuesday Morning share. It's very motivating and will definitely challenge our teams to create even greater value within our customer's supply chains for many years to come.

--Tony Allison, Regional Vice President – Averitt Express

Calculating a true landed cost for global sourcing directly correlates with the profitability of purchased goods. However, few companies can command real-time visibility in to all the costs involved for cross border movements. In this podcast, World Trade 100 and Amber Road highlight how a comprehensive global trade platform that converges both logistics and compliance costs can deliver true landed cost visibility.
