Hubspan and Terso Bring RFID Integration to Healthcare and Life Science

Hubspan, a B2B cloud provider, has announced it is partnering with Terso Solutions, a RFID inventory management solution company, to enable a RFID business network for the healthcare and life sciences industries.

Through this partnership, Hubspan will power integration for Terso's RFID-enabled intelligent products and RFID Software, which enable companies and research institutions to better manage and control highly valuable inventory. The combined solution expands both companies' reach in the life sciences and healthcare markets.

The Terso solution enables secure, item level tracking to reduce inventory management costs and improve workflows. The virtually embedded Hubspan integration cloud enables Terso customers to exchange electronic information directly from the Terso application, extending product usage and procurement business processes to manufacturers and distributors. The combined Terso-Hubspan solution results in real-time, end-to-end business processes with seamless workflow and visibility for both the providers and manufacturers.

"Terso and Hubspan are both focused on making the exchange of critical information easier and more cost-effective for all organizations in a life science or healthcare supply chain, while maintaining security and compliance," said Joe Pleshek, President and CEO of Terso Solutions, Inc. "This solution allows manufacturers and hospital and laboratory end users to remove waste and streamline the supply chain through better communication and visibility on both sides. And by leveraging Hubspan's B2B cloud to power integration, we can continue to focus on our core competency of providing inventory management solutions."

"Terso is a great addition to our partner community, as they provide an innovative solution for healthcare organizations, allowing them to automate key procurement processes," said Trisha Gross, president and CEO, Hubspan. "Hubspan has hundreds of biotech and healthcare organizations connected to our cloud platform today, and we look forward to growing this community with Terso."
