Averitt Express, a global provider of freight transportation and supply chain management, was recently honored with the 2010 LTL Carrier of the Year Award by Parker Hannifin, a Cincinnati, Ohio-based manufacturer of motion and control technologies.

Parker Hannifin recognized Averitt as a result of several critical success factors. The full-service transportation provider met or exceeded Parker Hannifin’s goal of 97 to 98 percent on-time performance while handling an average of 1,800 shipments per month across its network, from Texas to Florida to Kentucky.
