The Port of Houston Authority, which operates one of the largest ports in the world, has begun using APS Technology Group, Inc.’s Gate optimal character recognition (OCR) Portal. APS’s portal will allow the port authority to implement damage inspection imaging, equipment identification, and traffic processing at the Port of Houston’s recently designed entry gate complex, which is located at the Bayport container terminal.
