Asia's manufacturing activity weakened in November, most likely due to Europe's continuous economic crises, as well as the United States' diminished demand for the region's export-driven shipments.
Meanwhile, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, China's purchasing managers index (PMI) dropped to 49 in November, down 1.4 points in comparison to October's index - the first time the index has contracted since February 2009.
A variety of other Asian manufacturing activity measurements also declined in November.
