Estes Opens New Terminal in Dayton, Ohio

Estes Express Lines, a freight transportation provider, has opened a new, 36-door terminal in the Dayton, Ohio area to support a consistent upward trend in business levels in the region.

Located at 6295 Executive Blvd. in Huber Heights, the terminal employs 29 people. Seventeen of the employees are new hires and 12 transferred from other Estes locations. The Dayton terminal provides additional capacity and support for Estes’ existing terminals in Cincinnati and Columbus.

“It is definitely a pleasure to be making such a positive announcement about the opening of a new terminal and the creation of new jobs,” said Estes Regional Vice President Ron Giordon. “The addition of the Dayton terminal signals a positive growth trend in the transportation freight industry as our economy begins to rebound.”

Information regarding freight service is available by calling Terminal Manager Scott Hoffman at 937-237-7536, via fax at 937-237-9450, or by e-mail at dayton@estes-express.com.

Supply chain visibility is an appealing yet elusive capability for most companies. Part of the problem companies seem to have in embracing and implementing visibility is the lack of a comprehensive definition or firm understanding of the transformational potential. In this podcast, World Trade and GT Nexus will discuss the definitions and opportunities as well as how new cloud technology platforms are driving significant value to major companies today.

Speaker: Greg Johnson, Chief Marketing Officer & Co-Founder of GT Nexus
