Radiant Logistics' Distribution by Air Network Expands

Radiant Logistics Inc., a domestic and international logistics services company, announced the further expansion of its Distribution By Air ("DBA") network with a new location in Charlotte, N.C. The Charlotte facility will leverage Radiant's robust technology platform and global network to provide a comprehensive level of domestic and international freight forwarding and logistics services.

With over 25 years in combined experience, Martin Worre and Jessica Culbertson will lead DBA-Charlotte servicing a diversified base of domestic and international customers.

"We are very excited to be joining Radiant and the DBA network," said Mr. Worre."As a group, the Radiant/DBA team has a real appreciation for the needs of the local owner/entrepreneur and a clear and achievable plan for building a world class logistics organization. The platform, in terms of people, process, technology and network is unique in the marketplace and represented a compelling opportunity for us. We are looking forward to leveraging our own strengths along with the capabilities of the Radiant network to bring additional value to our customers while enjoying the benefits of participating in an organization that, through its status as a public company, gives us the ability to work as shareholders and participate in the value that we help create. This is an exciting new dynamic for us and we are looking forward to flying the Radiant/DBA flag here in Charlotte."

Radiant's Chairman and CEO, Bohn Crain, remarked: "We are very excited to have Martin and Jessica join our organization as I am confident that they will have an immediate positive impact to our organization which continues to grow in size and strength. We remain bullish on our opportunity for continued organic growth available through the expansion of our agent-based operations as people look to align themselves with a strong partner in this difficult market environment and believe we remain uniquely positioned to bring value to our network participants: (1) leveraging our status as a public company to provide our partners with an opportunity to share in the value that they help create, (2) providing a robust platform in terms of people, process and technology which is translating into better purchasing power with our vendors and more sophisticated e-business solutions for our customers and (3) offering a unique opportunity in terms of succession planning and liquidity for our station owners."

GT Nexus podcast

Supply chain visibility is an appealing yet elusive capability for most companies. While most recognize the significant benefits that would accrue from comprehensive visibility, few have made it a reality across their global operations. Part of the problem companies seem to have in embracing and implementing visibility is the lack of a comprehensive definition or firm understanding of the transformational potential. In this podcast, World Trade and GT Nexus will discuss the definitions and opportunities as well as how new cloud technology platforms are driving significant value to major companies today.

Speaker: Greg Johnson, Chief Marketing Officer & Co-Founder of GT Nexus
