The LTS Scale mobile weighing and dimensioning system Land Air Express is installing on lift trucks at its Carlstadt, New Jersey warehouse will “not only help us recover additional revenues missed otherwise, but will also keep our docks far more productive than if we utilized a static dimensioning product,” said Dave Bush, director of business processes for Land Air Express.

“MobileCube will allow us to dimensionalize our freight far more efficiently and more accurately than previous methods,” he added.

The company explained the system will provide Land Air the means to improve LTL loading and stowability, increase productivity, and form the basis for contract/tariff measurement reviews. The units installed on the lift trucks automatically weigh and dimension the palletized freight and wirelessly communicate the information to Land Air for analysis and processing.
