Tri-State Delivery Now TSD Logistics

Tri-State Delivery, a Third Party Logistics provider, formally became TSD Logistics on July 1, 2012. Consistent with the growing trend for Third Party Logistics providers, TSD has extended their services beyond North America. The name change reflects these new offerings, the company said.

“The letters ‘TSD’ were chosen to preserve the 30-year history behind the Tri-State Delivery name. The three lines on the old logo will appear in the new logo to ensure brand recognition,” said TSD President Perry Parker.

There will be no change in staff, management or procedure related to this name change. The new logo has begun to appear on TSD documents, trucks and trailers.

TSD Logistics offers diversified worldwide shipping services such as bulk transportation of raw materials, dedicated freight shipments, expedited logistics and complete freight management. TSD was established in 1980 in Texarkana, Texas.

Supply chain visibility is an appealing yet elusive capability for most companies. While most recognize the significant benefits that would accrue from comprehensive visibility, few have made it a reality across their global operations. Part of the problem companies seem to have in embracing and implementing visibility is the lack of a comprehensive definition or firm understanding of the transformational potential. In this podcast, World Trade and GT Nexus will discuss the definitions and opportunities as well as how new cloud technology platforms are driving significant value to major companies today.

Speaker: Greg Johnson, Chief Marketing Officer & Co-Founder of GT Nexus
