MoreThe American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) is using its portal to aggregate needs from the states affected by Hurricane Sandy. The site (ALAN portal) is open to provide information on needs as well as offers of aid.
Offers should include the product/service, quantity, location and contact information, says ALAN. It may take a few days for needs to be posted, says the aid group, as local resources are exhausted and gaps emerge.
Interested parties can also register to receive notifications directly from ALAN.
