Evergreen Moves to Temporary Office

November 9, 2012

Evergreen Shipping Agency (America) Corporation, North America Agents for global carrier Evergreen Line, has moved its Jersey City headquarters office to 95 Greene St, Jersey City, NJ 07302 while Hurricane Sandy repair work continues at its nearby Evertrust Plaza Building.

"We have had a seamless transition with our offices and logistics centers throughout the US enhancing the ongoing work being conducted here in New Jersey," said Roy Amalfitano, agency President. "The temporary office allows us to maintain the integrity of our total service offerings while the damage caused by salt water flooding is repaired."

Emergency business operations procedures had been activated since last week to assist headquarters operations. With the opening of Maher Terminals at the Port Elizabeth complex, Evergreen vessels will resume direct calls into Port of NY/NJ as soon as practicable. Customers are urged to refer to www.evergreen-line.com for details and further updates.
