Heavey RF Group Expands

Heavey RF Group, the supply chain, warehouse, logistics technology and software company, has announced an expansion of its international operations.

It will open an office in Germany in the New Year and is rebranding its operations in Poland and Australia under the Heavey RF corporate name, while continuing expansion in Ireland.

Heavey RF Group, which supplies mobile technology solutions to the logistics, manufacturing, field service, retail and transport sectors, has grown its UK operations by 18 percent over the last year. Major UK customer wins include DHL, Caterpillar, Britvic, IM Group and Cullina.

Ronan Clinton, CEO, said that growth was being driven by increased awareness of the need for manufacturers and distributors to cut costs and boost productivity. “Our track record with blue chip companies in achieving measurable business results such as increased productivity and reduction in error rates is driving demand for our solutions in the UK and globally. Our solutions are consistently outperforming our international competitors. This expansion investment aims to capitalise on this and bring our solutions to a much wider audience.”

Heavey RF Group is a global supplier of VocalPoint Voice Solutions, which allows distributors and manufacturers to optimize their supply chain processes, providing significant increases in productivity, reductions in operational expenses and uplift in business intake. The benefits that can be gained from successful implementation of hands-free, eyes-free voice technology in warehouse and logistics business has been proven globally and by using the VocalPoint solution can still be used in tandem with other new or existing RF technology.

Supply chain visibility is an appealing yet elusive capability for most companies. While most recognize the significant benefits that would accrue from comprehensive visibility, few have made it a reality across their global operations. Part of the problem companies seem to have in embracing and implementing visibility is the lack of a comprehensive definition or firm understanding of the transformational potential. In this podcast, World Trade and GT Nexus will discuss the definitions and opportunities as well as how new cloud technology platforms are driving significant value to major companies today.

Speaker: Greg Johnson, Chief Marketing Officer & Co-Founder of GT Nexus
