Mobile fleet optimization software provider XRS Corporation (Formerly Xata Corporation) appointed James DeSocio executive vice president of field operations. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s field sales team and will serve on the XRS executive committee.

DeSocio brings more than 20 years of technology, software and communications leadership experience to XRS, the company said. Most recently, DeSocio served as executive vice president – sales and business development for New Jersey-based Antenna Software.
