AFS Technologies Announces Dedicated Customer Advocacy Group

As Chief Customer Officer, Lisa Whinnie will provide customer support for AFS Technologies.

AFS Technologies, Inc., a provider of integrated software solutions to the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, announced the creation of a dedicated customer advocacy group. In her new role as Chief Customer Officer, Lisa Whinnie will provide senior-level, independent visibility of customer support by leading the newly formed AFS Customer Advocacy and Consulting Group.

The new group will provide a dedicated, single point of contact to address unique customer business requirements, and align customers with appropriate AFS or third party resources to deliver best-of-breed technology solutions, the company said.

The Customer Advocacy Group will work in tandem with all operational areas streamlining communications, focusing on customer satisfaction and ensuring the strategy is aligned with the customers’ business objectives. The team will have access to the right resources to address specific customer requirements, and will be proactively reaching out to customers on a regular basis to ensure that AFS is providing the best level of support possible, AFS added.

“Lisa held a similar role at AFS, but focused on distributor and sales agency accounts,” noted Kurien Jacob, CEO of AFS. “Her role has been expanded to include the newly acquired customers from Quofore and MEI. Lisa’s in-depth knowledge of all segments of the CPG segment enables her to provide great value to the customers, and she is assembling a team that has in-depth knowledge of the industry and AFS solutions,” Jacob added.

Supply chain visibility is an appealing yet elusive capability for most companies. While most recognize the significant benefits that would accrue from comprehensive visibility, few have made it a reality across their global operations. Part of the problem companies seem to have in embracing and implementing visibility is the lack of a comprehensive definition or firm understanding of the transformational potential. In this podcast, World Trade and GT Nexus will discuss the definitions and opportunities as well as how new cloud technology platforms are driving significant value to major companies today.

Speaker: Greg Johnson, Chief Marketing Officer & Co-Founder of GT Nexus
