Mr. Liu Hanbo, president of COSCO (China Ocean Shipping Company) Americas Inc., the shipping and logistics services supplier company,  has announced a pair of appointments within the top management teams of both COSCO Container Lines Americas Inc. (CCLA) and parent COSCO Americas Inc. (CAI).

Timothy E. Marsh has been promoted to executive vice president of COSCO Container Lines Americas Inc. and will head the trade division. Formerly the vice president responsible for CCLA sales, Marsh will now have responsibility for all marketing, pricing and sales activities of CCLA, and be accountable for all KPI requirements from COSCON relating to trade. He will be based at CCLA Headquarters in Secaucus, N.J.

Howard Finkel, executive vice president of CCLA and vice president of CAI, will take on responsibilities covering relations with and liaison to industry groups, the customer base, stockholders and the general public, representing COSCO at events and conferences. He will also serve as administrator for regulatory, legal and public relations matters. Further, Finkel will be part of a team headed by President Hanbo that will develop new commercial opportunities for the companies, working from CAI Headquarters in Secaucus, N.J.
