Deringer Introduces Invoice Gateway, Document Back-Up

A.N. Deringer Inc. announced the availability of a new online tool providing customers with quick visibility of their accounts payable and back-up documentation. The new tool, called Invoice Gateway, gives customers the ability to retrieve and print their invoices, back-up, memo bills and statements through a user-friendly website. Both new and unpaid invoices will be available on the site.

Deringer continues adding value to its service offering by implementing new customer-facing tools. Invoice Gateway provides a time-savings benefit, as customers can now proactively retrieve their paperwork. Additionally, the tool supports Deringer’s environmental sustainability initiatives as it encourages the use of electronic resources over hard copies that use natural resources. Paul Laska, Deringer’s manager of credit and collections, explained, “We are pleased to extend our partnership with BillTrust in a way that adds clear value to our customers. This tool provides easy, instant access and online visibility of invoices and entry documentation.”

Invoice Gateway is offered through BillTrust, Deringer’s third party invoice management partner. BillTrust manages approximately 60 percent of Deringer’s accounts payable processing, and all invoices processed through BillTrust are retrievable using the new tool. Customers can visit the Invoice Gateway portal by following a link noted on their invoices or by visiting the Customer Tools section of Deringer’s corporate website.

Assurance of Supply: A Top Concern for Manufacturers

Every manufacturer has an assurance of supply problem to some extent due to the complexity of global sourcing. For years, manufacturers were blessed with high margins but margins have grown paper thin. You can’t fill up your distribution centers with excess inventory – not only is there a cost factor but the pace of business and consumer buying trends causes goods to quickly turn obsolete. Assurance of supply provides the speed and agility that is essential to being able to compete in today’s market.
