Congresswoman Laura Richardson (D-Cal.) will be the Special Guest at the International Warehouse Logistics Association’s (IWLA) 120th Annual Convention, to be held March 6-9 in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Representative Richardson represents California’s 37th Congressional District (included in her district is the Port of Long Beach) and sits on the influential House Committees on Transportation & Infrastructure, which oversees goods movement and infrastructure.
Richardson is preparing to introduce a comprehensive bill goods movement bill intended to bring velocity to local trade corridors. The bill provides for public and private sector involvement, prioritizing major goods movement corridors and funding projects to alleviate choke points.
