Auto industry magnate Roger Penske has donated 40 flatbed trucks for use in the relief effort in Haiti.

Detroit-based Penske Corp. stated that the diesel-powered trucks valued at more than $1 million have been donated to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. The fund aiding earthquake-ravaged Haiti's long-term recovery is headed by former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

Penske says the trucks will help distribute food and lifesaving supplies as part of humanitarian relief efforts.
