Persistent concern over the past year regarding whether--and how--to increase the security of global supply chains has resulted in a free global Web cast hosted by WORLD TRADE MAGAZINE in collaboration with Savi Technology and Qualcomm Communications.

WORLD TRADE MAGAZINE publisher Brian Noto says the Web cast, scheduled for 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. (PST) on Nov. 7, is entitled, "Supply Chain Security: What Has Happened Since 9/11? What Should You Do About It?"

"A number of government and industry-driven supply chain security initiatives have been launched, some with promising results. Still, public officials and logistics professionals grapple with new ways to overcome the massive and complex challenge of supply chain security," Noto says. "WORLD TRADE MAGAZINE is happy to partner with Savi and Qualcomm, two industry leaders in supply chain security, to host this Web cast."

The Web cast will feature global authorities in government and the private sector, including leaders from the market analyst community, a major shipper, a U.S. port authority, an international security firm and technology solution providers.
