The New York Times reports that the U.S. has pledged to reduce emissions "in the range of" 17 percent below 2005 levels in the coming decade, while China is now saying that it would reduce its carbon intensity 40 to 45 percent below 2005 levels over the same period of time.
What’s most important is that many countries are seemingly more serious about climate change today and are sincerely seeking the best response to it. So, regardless of the outcome next week, the business world, and transportation companies in particular, are cutting a significant path on the ‘green road.’
